About Me
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Mississippi.

I research the psychology of social ostracism. I conduct experiments to answer questions about ostracism from the perspective both of people who are ostracized, and also people who ostracize others. Specifically, I examine the affective and social consequences of being ostracized, and the ways people can recover after they have been ostracized.

In addition to my research on social ostracism, I study social influence processes more generally. This includes impression management and techniques for increasing compliance.
